Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Fish PHASE 2 Request for Applications Round 1
May 15th, 2024

Feed the Future is the U.S. Government’s global hunger and food security initiative. Funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Fish (Fish Innovation Lab) has the overarching goal of alleviating poverty and improving nutrition, especially for marginalized populations, through the reliable and inclusive provision of nutrient-rich fish and other aquatic foods. To achieve this goal, the Fish Innovation Lab will fund country-focused research-for-development activities implemented through competitive research grants. These grants will form an integrated and multidisciplinary research program that enables the long-term sustainable development of aquaculture and wild-caught fisheries systems in priority geographies. The Management Entity of the Fish Innovation Lab, the Mississippi State University Global Center for Aquatic Health and Food Security, coordinates and manages this global research-for-development program.
